The Naugatuck Valley Radiological Associates (NVRA) Imaging Network is committed to providing the highest quality imaging services utilizing the most advanced technology through convenient access for patients throughout our network. 



NVRA History

Naugatuck Valley Radiological Associates (NVRA) is a network of diagnostic imaging facilities staffed with 14 highly trained and board-certified radiologists who strive to provide the best patient care. At NVRA, we use prime diagnostic imaging at our four locations conveniently located in Southbury, Waterbury, and Prospect, Connecticut. Our advanced radiology consultants provide 3D Mammography, Ultrasound, CT scan, Open/High field MRI, Arthrography, General Radiology, and Bone Density. 

NVRA maintains a strong outpatient imaging presence, serving patients in four different locations, including two joint ventures with hospital partners. The practices provide a high level of patient-centered care, lower costs, and price transparency. All four NVRA outpatient imaging sites have earned the Diagnostic Imaging Center of Excellence designation awarded by the American College of Radiology. 

We understand the additional stress of needing access to a radiology diagnostic center, which is why we strive to ease the tension by providing self-pay pricing options and affordable payment plans. We also participate with all major insurance plans. Our team holds partnerships with Trinity Health of New England, SONE Health, Strategic Radiology, and MPS insurance companies to provide you with the reliable and efficient care you deserve. 

NVRA is a division of Advanced Imaging Alliance (AIA), a multi-state radiology group that provides radiology services to dozens of healthcare providers, including nine hospitals operated by Trinity Health. The corporation is wholly owned by the physician shareholder members of the groups that comprise AIA, with no outside financial interests.
